I use a Mac Mini running MacOS Version 11.2.3 and just downloaded Minecraft Java Edition on it. Whenever I click the launcher I get a pop-up saying “Minecraft Launcher: Unable, to start Minecraft, if you are running from a dmg, please drag to Applications and try again. Go to /Library/Application Support/minecraft, delete this folder; Delete Minecraft from Application folder; Make sure Firewall is turned off; Reinstall Minecraft from the downloaded dmg; Resources: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/91-Uninstall-Minecraft.

Unable To Start Minecraft If You Are Running From A DmgLauncher

When I launch Minecraft from the dock or from the Applications folder, it loads for a bit, then the Minecraft Updater pops up, saying:
'Unable to start Minecraft, if you are running from a dmg, please drag to Applications and try again'
The issue is that, as stated, I'm not running from a dmg. This even happens after making sure that both minecraft.app and it's 'contents' folder are read-write for my user.
